"That Metal Show" returns to VH-1 Classic for Season 12 on June 1st.
The show featuring host Eddie Trunk and a panel of hard rock and heavy metal guests is back and the premiere episode features former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted.
Trunk is without a doubt an expert on all things hard rock and should be hosting this show alone. The drawback of "That Metal Show" are Trunk's 2 "why are they even there" sidekicks Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson.
Floretine is best known for his appearances on the Howard Stern show but in this venue his non-stop unfunny dick jokes just seem to bring the show to a dead stop while former network executive turned stand-up comedian Don Jamieson brings nothing to the table other than his awkward on camera banter.
If you love metal and hard rock music and are willing to ignore Don and Jim then "That Metal Show" is the show for you.
