Word is out on who is replacing Paula Abdul on the upcoming season of American Idol. I think Paula was holding out hope that maybe she'd get to come back. Well, the person they did get, while having pretty much zero credibility in the music world, has a hugely popular daytime talk show and enjoys dancing. Are those qualifications enough?

She is sure to bring in plenty of ratings for the show which returns in January. Well she's make a much more coherent (Thanks Phil!) judge that's for sure. Can't wait to see her with Simon.
