Fringe is renewed for 5th and final season

Fox has renewed Fringe for its final season. This decision was such a close call that the producers had already filmed two endings: one that ended the series this season and one that continues the series.

Fox's decision isn't too surprising since Warner Brothers had agreed to reduce what it charges Fox for each episode. Now the show will reach the 100th episode, making it much more attractive for syndication.

So those of you who love watching Olivia, Peter and Walter every week now have one more season before the end.
