According to Jason Bateman that is the case. It seems show creators Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard are gearing up to bring the brilliantly funny sitcom to the big screen. Bateman has said he and other cast members have been contacted about their interest and everyone seems ready to go on it. More news should start coming once the strike ends, which I hear could be any time now (big WGA meeting on Saturday).
Great news!
Speaking of Arrested Development, Wil Arnett is no longer the voice of KIT in the new Knight Rider series. It seems a conflict of interest has forced him to drop out. he ahs been the voice you hear in GMC commercials for quite some time and since Knight is considerably Ford driven...GMC asked him to drop out.
He's been replaced by Val Kilmer.
