Today, Nintendo announced the official release for the Nintendo DS 2.0, DSi. The system will hit stores on April 5 for $169.99. IT can be yours in either Matte Black or Matte Blue.
The DSi does not feature a GBA slot but it does have a wealth of other features that may appeal to folks out there including a camera and editing suite, a sound studio for recording and playing sound/music, an SD Card slot, and access to the DSi shop.
Personally, I think the Nintendo DS is perfect as is and these extra features are pretty much useless for a GAME system.
