Word is quickly spreading that the man who built the castle that is DC Animation (or at least gave it the integrity it currently has) is stepping down.
Bruce Timm, creator of Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited to name two of his many accomplishments, is exiting his role as a producer at DC Animation to concentrate on his own projects.
This is bad news for DC and Warners if you ask me as the companies are having a hell of a time getting any features that don't include Batman off the ground. Their successes in the animation field have been unparallelled, thanks mostly in part to the guiding force of Bruce Timm.
I'm curious to see what happens next for DC Animation. Timm has left some awfully large shoes to fill.
