"Billion Dollar Babies" is without a doubt one of the most popular albums in Alice Cooper's 26 album discography. Released in 1973 "Billion Dollar Babies" went to #1 in the US and UK and earned Alice his 4th platinum album in a row.
"Billion Dollar Babies" features such classic tunes as "Hello Hooray," "Elected," "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and of course the title track that features the iconic Neal Smith drum intro.
All 4 of the aforementioned songs went on to appear on Alice's Greatest Hits album that was released the following year and he continues to feature these tunes in his live show 41 years after their original release.
The new "Audio Fidelity" Hybrid SACD features brand new mastering by Steve Hoffman. Hoffman has achieved perfection on this release and Glen Buxton's guitar has never sounded this good on any of the previous re-issues by other labels.
Audio Fidelity's release of "Billion Dollar Babies" is also a numbered Limited Edition that includes all of the original artwork as well as a replica of the "classic" Billion Dollar Bill that was featured in the original album release!
