Concert Review - Hall and Oates LIVE @ Fantasy Springs Resort 3/7/2014

Friday night in Indio, CA Daryl Hall and John Oates proved that after 40 years they are still going strong.

The duo took the stage in front of a packed house at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino and powered through a 90 minute set that had everyone dancing in the aisles and bopping in their seats.

Backed by a 6 piece band that included long time sideman Charles "Mr. Casual" DeChant on saxophone and keyboards, Hall and Oates gave the crowd exactly what they wanted... the hits!

Their 14 song set included 12 top 10 singles with 6 of those reaching number 1.  Hall's voice has not changed one bit from the duo's chart topping 80's heyday and as for John Oates he is a force to be reckoned with as well.  After opening with 5 Daryl lead vocal performances Oates jumped to center stage by singing lead on the one -two punch of "Alone Too Long" and "Las Vegas Turnaround" and then into the groups first big single "She's Gone."

Hall and Oates also brought along their pitch perfect vocal harmonies and hearing them sing together LIVE proves why they are (finally) being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame this coming year.

Drumroll please... 8 out of 10 drumsticks!!!
