Aerosmith Bassist Confirms Steven Tyler as American Idol Judge

Less than a month before American Idol officially announces the two new judges for the show, Aerosmith bassist, Tom Hamilton, confirms bandmate Steven Tyler as one of the two new judges for the show. "Steven is doing `American Idol.' The ink is dry on that," said Hamilton, in an interview with The Star Ledger. I wonder if after every show he'll repeat those infamous words found during the game over screen of Terminator 2: The Arcade Game, "Don't Give Up!!"

And The New American Idol Judge is...

Word is out on who is replacing Paula Abdul on the upcoming season of American Idol. I think Paula was holding out hope that maybe she'd get to come back. Well, the person they did get, while having pretty much zero credibility in the music world, has a hugely popular daytime talk show and enjoys dancing. Are those qualifications enough?
