TV impresario Merv Griffin has passed away today. He succumbed to Colon Cancer, his family has stated in a statement this morning. He was 82 years old. Griffin is responsible for such game shows as Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. His talk show, The Merv Griffin Show, was on the air for 24 years.
An invitation only funeral mass will be held in Beverly Hills.
So long Mr. Griffin.
