I can't tell you all how great this has been for the past year. I'm one guy, with occasional help from some friends, running this site about things I deeply love and care for. Pop Culture. It's fantastic.
I don't make any money off the site, I do it all for the love of pop culture. I get a decent number of visitors. I'm not Perez Hilton, I'm not drudge report, but still there are people who visit my page on a regular basis and I think it is time to start covering other issues surrounding the pop culture spectrum.
I want to do something important with Pop Culture Beast.
What I mean is that starting very soon there will be a semi regular feature that might address more serious aspects of pop culture.
The main content of the site will not change. You'll still get lots of reviews, movie news, and cool stuff same as before.
In addition to this there occasionally will be more serious topics broached.
The first of these will revolve around what is probably one of the biggest pop culture movements in history.
You Tube.
There seems to be issues out there that some people are ignoring. I have decided to address these issues in a series of interviews(one of which is already confirmed) and posts regarding the rampant hatred spreading on you tube, as well as the increasing amounts of activism seen on the site.
This will be coming up within the next few weeks.
Don't worry, this isn't turning into a political blog by any means.
I just want to delve deeper into the depths of popular culture and see both the good and the bad of what's out there.
I hope you stick around for some interesting times.
