According to this one reviewer, the trailers reveal a "fast-and-loose" policy towards character ages in general, Dan's lack of tubbiness and Joel Schumacher nipple's on Adrian's super-suit.
Still, some viewers who'll never read the graphic novel might like the film on its own. We'll just have to see.
