Fantastic Fest 2013 announced their second wave of programming today. The titles this year look on par or better than last years and less than half have been revealed so far. Fantastic Fest is an amazing genre film festival highlighting sci-fi, horror, thriller, action and other unique and weird films. It also boasts a unique ticketing system that confirms your seats in all the movies you pick for a day. This means that it's easy to catch five films a day with no waiting in lines. Last year I attended 30 of 35 possible slots and the Festival has over 70 movies to choose from with countless more short films.
If you are near the Austin area or can travel here, this festival is worth attending. Badges are still available.
Fantastic Fest 2013 runs from September 19th - 26th.
