Star Wars Adds Two Ladies!

Star Wars has taken a big step in solving its gender gap issue by adding two wonderful actresses to its cast: Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o and Game of Thrones bad ass Gwendoline Christie have officially joined Episode VII.

We knew that Lupita's casting was just a matter of being announced but I hadn't heard word of Gwendoline being involved. I for one am super excited that both of these women have joined the cast. They will definitely bring some major talent to the material. I can't wait to see who they are playing.

Here Is Your New Star Wars Cast

Just days before the fourth, the official cast of Episode VII has been revealed.  Interesting names like Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow appear along side original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher.

More interesting is that this new cast is made up of relative unknowns.  Even Adam Driver might be unfamiliar to those who are not fans of HBO's Girls.
