A fixture on television for as long as I can remember has announced the end. David Letterman dropped the bombshell today during a taping of his show that he will hang up his tie and put the pencils in the drawer in 2015.
It's been a great historic run for Late Show and I'm glad to know we'll get another year of Dave.
No reason for his decision has been announced.
So long Dave! At least we have about another year to enjoy you before you sign off.
