The Guardian is reporting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has sold a staggering 6.5 Million copies and earned an estimated $400 Million Dollars within just 24 hours of release making it the biggest entertainment launch in history.
To compare: $400 million in one day for MW3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two has a current domestic haul of $380 million. That is after 4 MONTHS of release.
Let that sink in for a minute. $400 million dollars in twenty four hours. One day. More than Harry Potter made in its entire domestic release.
I know people expected it to be huge but this huge? Crazy.
