A secret agent should be funny.

The Daily Express has an interview with 39 year-old actor Daniel Craig about the next installment for the Bond Series. And it appears that Bond is going to be funnier and more gentleman like instead of his tough guy approach from the previous film Casino Royale.

"They [the producers] just want more gags," he said. "The next one's going to be a lot funnier. Octopussy and Pussy Galore style gags. They're all great names – but that's the thing, the Bond jokes will be flipped on their heads... Bond is supposedly the most male moment [in film] but to me he's never been macho. That Bond is something that Sean Connery created in Dr No," he said."I don't know Sean but I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley – he was a big strong guy and he had a big male presence about him."

Daniel Craig pulled off James Bond really well, enough that I have faith in the next direction they want Craig's version of Bond to go.

The 22nd installment of the 007 franchise is expected to hit theaters in Winter of 2008.
