At last, Disney's classic Bambi is available on blur-ray in stunning high-definition with a wonderful assortment of features sure to please even the most die hard Bambi
fan.The film looks stunning and is extremely well done in terms of transfer. It certainly ranks up there amongst the best of Disney's Diamond Editions.
You know the story and it's just as sad as the first time but the characters are just as great and on blu-ray they seem to leap out of the screen. Bambi was never one of my favorite Disney films but after giving it another look, it's moved up a few notches.
The kids will love watching the movie but you parents out there might just get a kick out of the special features, especially Walt's Story Meetings. Really interesting stuff here, even more so if you are a Disneyphile.
I'd give this one a go asap. I'm sure they'll lock it up in the vault by years end.
