Comedy sequels are a difficult breed of movie making and I am struggling to think of one
that bests the original.

Most of the time the "comedy sequel" just copies all the elements
that worked in the original and regurgitates them back to the audience in hopes that they
will not notice.  What you usually get are subpar attempts such as: "Caddyshack II,"
"Dumb and Dumberer" and "Blues Brothers 2000."  While "The Hangover Part III" isn't as
bad as those clunkers, it's also not up to the standards of the original.

It is better than Part II so at least the film makers tried a little harder this time out and
managed to give the audience a mostly satisfying conclusion to this, the rare "comedy
trilogy."

Drumroll please...

6 out of 10 drumsticks!!!
