WB Considers Numerous TERRIBLE Subtitles for Man of Steel 2
Warner Bros. registered numerous domain names that might be hinting at a potential subtitle for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel.
The problem is that they are all terrible. See for yourself.
"Man of Steel: Battle the Knight"
"Man of Steel: Beyond Darkness"
"Man of Steel: Black of Knight"
"Man of Steel: Darkness Falls"
"Man of Steel: Knight Falls"
"Man of Steel: Shadow the Night"
"Man of Steel: The Blackest Hour"
"Man of Steel: The Darkness Within"
These are all cringeworthy. Shadow the Night? What does that even mean? This project is looking more and more like it will be a complete disaster and might possibly ruin the chances of a strong DC Universe on the big screen. As it is it's getting further and further away from being a Superman movie.
Of course, if anyone out there wants to anonymously slip me the script for this to prove me wrong, you can do so at garon@popculturebeast.com.
Luckily, we have Arrow to keep our hopes alive.

Sequel Round Up!
Some quick updates about various sequels that seem to be in the works:
Lethal Weapon 5: Allegedly on the fast track. I'm excited about it to be honest. I really liked the series so hopefully they'll do a good job with this.
Batman 3: Christopher Nolan has NOT signed on and the film is probably NOT going into preproduction early next year as has been reported all over the interenet.
28 Months Later: I haven't seen 28 Weeks Later so I don't know if this is a necessary sequel or not...I have also hear word of 28 Years Later also...
Evil Dead 4: In a recent issue of Toyfare Magazine Bruce Campbell says Sam Raimi has said he "can go back and do Ash vs. whoever whenever I want. I can do that when I'm 70; I don't have to do that now." Campbell goes on to say Raimi will "come back and do EVIL DEAD stuff when he's unemployed and living at the Old Director's Home."
