Superman Reboot directed by The Wachowski's?

The internet is swirling with reports that Bryan Singer has dropped out of directed the next Superman film to instead concentrate on his remake of Logan's Run. This allows WB to go forward with a reboot of the franchise as well as turning it into a a trilogy. Word has it that it that an offer has gone out to The Matrix and Speed Racer directors, The Wachowski Brothers.

Not sure how I feel about this.

Jonny Quest + Big Screen = Woot!

Following the foot steps of Speed Racer, Jonny Quest is headed for the big screen according to Variety.

"Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, who have the vidgame-based "Hitman" bowing in October from Fox, will produce the live-action adaptation of the popular 1960s animated TV series from Hanna-Barbera, with Dan Mazeau penning the script.

"Series revolved around a young boy who travels the world with his scientist father, adopted brother from India, Bandit the bulldog, and a government agent assigned to protect them as they go on their adventures investigating scientific mysteries."
