Netflix Has Their Daredevil!

You might recognize Charlie Cox from Stardust or Boardwalk Empire but pretty soon he'll be known the world over as Daredevil aka Matt Murdoch, the blind lawyer of Hell's Kitchen.

The casting was made official today along with the announcement of Drew Goddard's replacement as showrunner by Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus).

I think it's an interesting choice. Hopefully, we'll see these casting announcements start to ramp up as these Netflix series get closer to production!

Call of Duty: House of Cards - New COD Trailer!

Ok, it isn't really House of Cards, but Kevin Spacey does appear in this trailer for the latest Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and it is awesome.

The Call of Duty franchise is edging ever further into the futuristic territory and this one looks to go further than ever with its Titanfall-esque suits. It does look like an action packed and intense game and the passionate monologue from Spacey's character only heightens that.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare explodes onto XBOX One and Playstation 4 in November.

Everything You Need To Know- House of Cards Season 1 Recap

Ah Valentine's Day….now that you've spent the day being spoiled by your loved one (if you're lucky) or cursing the lovey dovey couples you can't seem to escape (if you're like us) it's time to get back to what's really important- the Season 2 premiere of House of Cards on Netflix. Marvel and Netflix Unite for Awesomeness!

Today could be considered historic, most definitely for Netflix and Marvel, as the two embark on a massive project to bring 4 series and an epic miniseries to the streaming service.

Marvel has announced that they'll be producing series taking place in and focusing on the flawed heroes of Hell's Kitchen.  These heroes include Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and the one I am most excited about, Jessica Jones.  The mini-series will focus on The Defenders.

These series are slated to begin in 2015.

65th Annual Emmy Award Nominations!

This years Emmy nominations have been announced and to be honest, they're pretty much the status quo.  It's exciting to see Arrested Development and House of Cards take nominations and cementing Netflix as a television contender but for the most part it's business as usual.

Biggest subs?  Nothing for Cougar Town or Happy Endings, TV's two funniest shows and nothing for RuPaul's Drag Race in either the reality host or reality show categories.

Disney-ABC bring new shows to Netflix

Today Netflix and Disney have announced the continued steaming of hundreds of library episodes from ABC Studios, ABC Family and Disney Channels including new content from series and TV movies. 

The big names coming to the table today include prior seasons of current ABC content such as Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Private Practice. As well as of past ABC favorites like Lost, Alias and Ugly Betty. Also making the list are ABC Family shows like The Secret Life and Melissa & Joey. 

So enjoy your new streaming options courtesy of ABC, Disney and Netflix and thank them with your money.

Netflix Walks With The Dead

Netflix has struck a deal with AMC TV and now has The Walking Dead for your streaming pleasure starting...well...now actually. Catch up with this brilliant show just in time for the beginning of season two which begins next Sunday at 9.

This deal also includes content from Sundance Channe, WeTV and IFC.
